From Auckland, New Zealand

Michael, after four years now, I’m still riddled with intolerable pain,
And in my heart and soul each day, thoughts of you forever remain.
I’ve been to see where you were born, and where you lay at rest,
And in-between those years, I saw you twice at your very best.

I never fulfilled my pre-planned wish, to see you that one last time,
And due to this, there’s an empty hole, in this aching heart of mine.
I was coming to see you once again, in London upon the stage,
And hoping for a hug from you, in which I wanted to engage.

Though I’m 7000 miles away, and can’t bring you roses every day,
I’m sending them for your anniversary, with the words of love I say.
Rest in peace beautiful angel, you are free from suffering and scorn,
And know that I’m thinking of you, and love you from daylight till dawn.
